LGEE institutions are located in North Lebanon, serving rural and semi-urban communities in the Akkar and Minieh-Dinnieh governorates. These regions, though culturally rich, have long faced socio-economic challenges including high poverty rates, limited access to public services, and a large population of Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
The communities speak primarily Arabic, though French and English are commonly used in educational settings, contributing to a trilingual learning environment. The cultural diversity and resilience of these communities have informed the inclusive and adaptable nature of the LGEE educational model.
At LGEE, our values shape every aspect of our educational journey. They guide how we teach, learn, and grow together as a community. By living these principles daily, we aim to nurture students who are not only academically accomplished but also socially responsible and future-ready.
Preparing independent, responsible, and productive citizens in society, who preserve their values and culture and are capable of effective leadership in the twenty-first century.
Providing an exceptional learning environment that enhances the intellectual, moral, and social growth of learners, unleashing their creative and innovative abilities so they can become independent citizens and responsible leaders in their future lives.
Founded as the first school in the network, Collège National Minieh established a tradition of academic excellence and community trust.
Building on this foundation, Collège Akkar opened to meet the growing educational needs of the community, emphasizing responsiveness and accessibility.
LGEE was formally established to unify the three schools under one educational framework, promoting academic rigor, inclusivity, and community development.
The newest institution, Collège Halba, was launched with a spirit of innovation and rapid growth, strengthening LGEE’s presence across North Lebanon.
